Digitise your pet's record without retyping it

The objection is always the same — "I would have to retype years of records". Photograph it, the app reads and pre-fills. All you have to do is check.

The real reason digital records get abandoned

It is not the design, nor the price. It is the first half hour: an empty record to fill in by hand, vaccine by vaccine, deciphering labels stuck on crooked and handwritten prescriptions. Most people stop at the second pet — or the third vaccine.

A digital health record still empty on day two is a dead record.

How it goes

1. You photograph the document: a page of the paper record with its vaccine labels, a prescription, an invoice.
2. The app reads the text and pulls out what it recognises — the vaccine name, the dates, the batch number, the amount.
3. It opens a review sheet: every proposed field, next to what it read.
4. You correct what needs correcting, and confirm.

Nothing is saved on its own. That is deliberate: on a medical document, an automatic reading that wrote itself in unchecked would be worse than typing it by hand. The machine proposes, you dispose.

What it recognises

• The usual vaccine valences — DHP, DHPP, DAPP, RCP, FVRCP, myxomatosis-RHD, rabies, and their many commercial variants
• Dates in their common formats
• Batch numbers
• Amounts, which head off to the health budget

What it does not recognise, you type: it is an accelerator, not an oracle.

Reading happens on your device

This is the point that matters most, and it is not cosmetic. Text recognition runs entirely on your phone — Vision on iPhone, ML Kit on Android — and the model is bundled inside the app. Concretely:

• your prescriptions are sent nowhere, to nobody;
• it works offline;
• it works on an Android device without Google services;
• nothing downloads on first scan.

Plenty of apps would say "processed on your device" with an asterisk somewhere. Here there is none: it is the same commitment as the rest of the product — your data lives on your phone, or on our servers in France, and nowhere else.

How long to take over an existing record

In practice, a few minutes per pet: the vaccine pages of the paper record photograph in one go, and prescriptions follow as they come. The rest — weights, contacts, appointments — fills itself in with use.
